It’s a beautiful piece of classic Catholic architecture, and totally free to go and visit. The cathedral is surrounded by numerous shops and stalls, which make for an interesting and vibrant atmosphere. Visitors can explore the interior of the cathedral, or take in the views from the top of its bell tower.
The construction of this structure commenced more than a century ago, yet its completion was delayed until the 1970s. The building is an important part of the city’s history and culture and has been visited by many famous people from around the world.

Technically, this hike is in Rosarito. However, the absolutely stunning views and scenery make the trip well worth it! Additionally, although it is a more challenging hike with over 1000 feet of elevation gain, it is an excellent workout and perfect for nature lovers.
Although it may seem like more work, this just means the view from the top is even better! The hike is only about 1.5 miles each way, and from the top, you will be rewarded with stunning, sweeping views of the coastline.
